Mike is a member of the United States Racquet Stringing Association, USRSA, the European Racquet Stringing Association, ERSA, and the International Alliance of Racquet Technicians, IART. With a strong desire to keep current with today's tennis industry standards, Mike continually reaches out to the leaders in the industry for assistance and opportunities to learn.

In March of 2016, Mike traveled to Malaga, Spain to attend the ERSA stringing symposium.  This event focuses specifically on the racquet sports industry with a huge emphasis on those stringing and servicing racquets.  Working side-by-side with stringers who have experience at all Tennis major championships, Mike continually learns the best techniques used for the top players in the world.

The symposium allows Mike to network and learn from some of the most experienced professional technicians in the world including professional racquet technicians who have years of experience working at the pro tour level and many who have been voted "Stringer of the Year" by Tennis Industry Magazine.

Mike has worked with the Wilson Stringing Team at the 2016 and 2017 U.S. Opens as well as the 2017 Miami Open.  He is training with some of the world's best stringers.

As a Master Racquet Technician, he sets the standard for excellence in racquet service and product knowledge.

Mike served in the US Navy for 22 years and now resides in Chattanooga, Tennessee with his wife.
